difference between neutral ground and phase

Answer Posted / mrinal kanti bhattacharjee

The phase, Neutral and ground are three important thing for
circuit devices. The phase current pass from the
voltage/power source to the circuit equipment. After this
phase current another current have to pass from this
equpment to main sources, which the often called negative
current, this is called Neutral current. And to save from
the short circuit and to save our body a wire is required to
connect between the devices and earth. This is grounding or
earthing. Earthing is required because earth voltage is
zero. So if connect the devices to the earth then a leakage
current can pass to the earth via the ground wire and save
us to flow the leakage current through our body.
