for batch testing purpose the QTP providing one option to
you.go through like this.
start->program files->QTp->tools->Batch runner->and add the
files and save it and you contains run option run it.(must
open the QTP empty files

GO to tools ,options and select the tet batch runner and

select the scripting functions one by one by keeping it in

wait mode and execute it.

Hi All, I am 4 yrs experieced in manual testing and new to automation tool QTP. Iam trying to learn it thru online and material i have.I am able to understand but unable to trace out which method or function to be used where necessary in VB Script. How come we know the functions or methods to be used to open a window when clicking on button or so...Pls suggest me.How can i proceed further to apt VB Script.

we are submitting data one form to another form.defaultly it is time period set as 5sec. but it is taken 15sec what to do

you are recording on "WINDOW 1", say it has a link if you click on that, that leads you to "WINDOW 2". If you do any manipulations on "WINDOW 2" that are automatically updated in to "WINDOW 1". But "WINDOW 1" is currently invisible. But the updations in "WINDOW 1" must also be recorded as a script in QTP. The best Example is if you update your resume in JOB STREET portal it actually happens in other window, but the previous window is automatically updated. Now does QTP help you in this types of situations? Any body can answer this question. please..... Siva
