depending upon the applications we use the delta & star connection....
for transmission delta to delta... for distribution purpose we use single phase supply for domestic loads so we can use delta to star..
if you want to get detailed answer please post your question clearly..

some time we open engine breaker 8.0 MW load but plant not trip. and another time engine open 4.0 MW load engine trip why? individually engine breaker open & individually emergency stop why difference?
