why we are using KVA rating for transformer,not KWh rating?

The output of transformer is not dependent on load and so the p.F and it only depends upon the voltage and current. Voltage is mostly given in kv and current in a. So the unit is kva.

As the time of the manufacture of the x-mer the load is unknown to us and during the operation of x-mer the load is highly varing.so,the load p.f can not be predicted at the time of design as well as during the time manufacture.so, the power of the x-mer is rated in kva instead of kw.
