Assay by HPLC is more correct compare to assay by uV. Because in UV there may be chances of interference and no chances of interference.

Actually, often a combination of both is used. The HPLC column separates out the analytes and a UV detector is used to get a UV spectrum of each component coming off the column. You've got most of the obvious differences, but a major advantage of HPLC is that it can be used in preparative mode and actually separate out mixtures to give you pure compounds. UV spectroscopy is only analytical.
