Yes you may use it with reasonable restrictions. But very important: there is no absolute freedom. You must check the PLC by reading the specification document. Read the restrictions under section 66A also. Only then you know what you cannot and should not do with it. It is always better to be safe than sorry. So avoid problems, as it is also called "chilling effect" from legal point of view. When you get this thought the next time say "chill it"!

How can we say that accuracy of measurement increases by using 3 or 4 wire RTD? because for example: If resistance of RTD element is say r ohms and Resistance of the cable from transmitter to RTD is R ohms And if 4 wire RTD is used, ____._____________________ R ohms | |_____._____________________ R ohms / \ / r ohms \ \ | |______.__________________ R Ohms | |_______._________________ R ohms Then the actual resistance measured will be: Total = r + R/2 + R/2 = r +R Ohms Note: r+R instead of r ohms. hence error

An atmospheric storage tank has a diameter of 20 m and a height of 8m.It is half-full of liquid with the remainder of the space containing air normally at atmospheric pressure. If the connection to atmosphere is accidentally closed off and 10 cubic m of liquid removed, what happens to the internal pressure of the tank? What are the possible consequences for the tank?
I want to use 1/2 inch SS316 tube in my high pressure & temperature (64 kg/cm2 & 500 deg C)after condensate pot in pressure tranmistter. 1) Is it possible to use 1/2" ss316 tube in high pressure and temperature line. Tube manufacturer is local vendor. 2)On sarting the plant, We need to do system fluse that time condesate is not in the condesate pot so steam is directly contact with the tube.
