Neutral is the node point of star,which have zero current in balance system.but have some current in case of unbalance system.but grouning is always zero potetial and zero current.and neutral is also connected to grounding to be made zero current

Neutral is a part of any current carrying circuit it means
every one alive circuit completed the path via neutral wire,
earth is not a part of any circuit frequently used as a
protective means to avoid electrical shock.
