What is the difference between Neutral And Earth ?..

The function of neutral is different for single phase and three phase circuit.In single phase circuit,neutral is provides the return path of the current passing in the circuit.and in three phase circuit,excessive current of the phases is passing through neutral.
The Earth(Ground) carries the Leakage current of the circuit.
