How to calibrate level switch?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Suppose you using Float/ displacer type of level switch.
Do the followings:
1. Fill the process into chamber of level switching mark.
2. Contacts of level switch should be changed.
3. If already, closed contacts, then should change to open condition.
4. If contacts not changing, do the knob of switch to change.
Suppose you can not fill process into chamber.(Process may harmful, like ammonia etc).
1. Note the process specific gravity. Suppose it is 0.67.
2. Your height for level switching is 1000 mm.
3. Use water to fill into chamber for calibration instead of process.
4. 1000 x 0.67 = 670 mm
5. So fill into chamber up to 670 mm water. It will operate the switch.

The switches all are working in Digital mode.Like 0 or 1. To do the calibration confirm the NO & NC. Basically it is NC when the process reaches the desired level then the circuit will be NO.

How to convert gpm into inches of eater.I nerd formula with example so pls help me.
A temperature sensor (RTD) connected via a temperature transmitter is adjusted to give an output of 4ma at 60 deg and 20 ma at 600 deg. This output (4-20ma) from the transmitter is connected to an IGBT-inverter to control a high speed (-12,000 to +12,000 RPM) DC motor. And in the inverter it is programmed as, for 4ma the motor speed will be -3,000 RPM and for 20ma the motor speed will be +10,000 RPM. The question is : If the motor speed is +5,500 (RPM), what will be the temperature? (-sign indicates that the motion is in reverse direction).
