what are difference between indoor and out door substation
Answer / jithendra
Indoor SS
Equipment's are accommodated in the panels
Resin-cast CT's & PT's & VCB indoor type are used
Outdoor SS
Equipment's are accommodated on the ISMC Structures
Oil-cooled CT's & PT's & VCB Outdoor type are used
INDOOR SS IS POSSIBLE ONLY UPTO 33KV Only.
economically & Area availability we can choose the INDOOR or OUTDOOR

I have 10 amp MCB for my air conditioner of 1.5 ton capacity. When I connect the ac direct it is started running but when connected through stabliser the Mcb Get trip and air conditioner couldn't start.please confirm whether Mcb is required to be upgraded to 20 amp. There is no fault in ac and the stabliser. Please advice the reason of tripping the mcb when connected through the stabliser.
why battery is connected in parallel ?
What is electrical energy ,power?
Hello sir. if u have electical engineering exam paper then plz mail me at bhumika_1187@yahoo.co.in. i m appearing exam for HPCL.
There are two nos of 33Kv/11Kv 5MVA transformers conecting through HT cable from substation having metering at substation itself. One transformer used at a time another remains stand by.Further 11 nos of 11Kv/440V transformers are attached on it and each transformer is having its own Power factor correction panel. Now one 33/11Kv transformer at no load condition/Stand by condition is having power factor in leading side upto 0.21 and while when another tranformer at same situation have power factor in lagging 0.42. Now one thing is clear that transformer one is having 1.5 Km long 33kv cable due to that PF goes in leading side and another is having only 250 mtr length remains him lagging. Now i want to know that how i can maintain the Power factor at no load/ stand by position though both are behaving in seperate manner.
What is the difference between earthing, ground&nutral?

What should be the voltage between neutral and earth of a UPS?
do anyone out there know where to find a compleete list on acronyms/abbreviations used in offshore electric engineering. MCB - Micro Circuit Breaker, MCCB-Mouldes Case Circuit Breaker, ELCB-Earth Lekage Circuit Breaker, ELMCB- etc.....
why earthing point in the 6amps/16amps socket bigger than the remaining (Phase & Neutral)points.
