electron doesnot flows they only drifts because
semiconductors are basically combination of
trivalent(acceptors/p-type)and pentavalent(donor/n-type), on
applying thermal pressure generation of holes and
recombination of electron ion pair takes place, this led to
drifting of electrons in one direction resulting in
potential barrier
