As per 'K' type thermocouple coversion chart for 30 mV 721 degree C+ 27degree C (Assume atmosphere temp. Is 27 degree C)so for 30 mV temp. Is 748 degree C.

THERMOCOUPLE TEMP = (T/C OUTPUT IN mV * 25)+ atmospheric
temp.
suppose thermocouple out put is 30 mv
30*25 = 750+atmospheric temp.(suppose30deg.cent)
= 750 +30
=780 is the t/c temp.

in k type thermocouple..we read 24 degree centigrate againt 1 mv..this is the siple way to find temp.
if thermocouple show 10 mv.its mean the temp is 240 degree c

Foe selecting control valve if i have the min,normal & max data of flow rate,inlet pressure& outlet pressure,inlet tem.&density than how can i assure that these data are correct,pl. let me know if therew there is any method to check it.& also how we assure that the Cv we get from this data is suitable for valve for controlling require flow.

The company where I am working, their is rosemount 5400 series radar type level transmitter, it is meant to show level of filled tank, but along with the level it is showing temperature also, so my question is how a onon-contact type radar type level transmitter can show temperature even if it does not have any contact with the fluid?
