Triangular is better since the distance between each line
with other is same causes equal inductance in all lines (ie)
same drop in voltage and hence equal line voltage but in
case of horizontal, it's vice versa

The exact answer is dat due to triangular formation, the net inductance of d transmission line reduces as compared 2 d horizontal configuration due 2 which the inductive reactance of d line reduces and hence d power transfer capability of d line increases as power transferred is inversely proportional to inductive reactance.
