Apparent Power:360/0.65=554 VA
Load Current 554/240=2.31 Amps
Protection Device should be 3-5 Amps.

I need to compare the energy consumption of an industrial machine before and after improving. Shall I compare the apparent power or the active power? I know usually factories use compensated capacitors (or other similar components) to compensate the reactive power, so if I use the apparent power, it's not the real power consumed.
