you have 200 testcase there is no enough time to excute all the testcase but you have to released that build.what can u do it?

Hi All,
In practice we never release SW without testing, But there
may be some situations we may require to deliver/release
the software to client with limited testing and we will
mention this in release notes.
Here limited testing means we will test all high level test
cases (40-50 (out of 200 Test cases) important and High-
level test cases related to major features) and Software
will be released to client. This is to mitigate the risk of
software failure.
Even after release testing team will continue remaining
testing and If any defects are found, a new release of
Software will be delivered to client with defect fixes.
Every company will give some warranty period after software
delivery (around 1 year from final release), during this
period company has to fix the issues without charging extra
cost.
