whenewher three phase supply is given to induction motors
revolving/rotating field is created & rotor rotates.When
the three phase supply is given to three phase transformer
then revolving,/rotating field is created or not? if not
why?
Answer / hussaini
Brother, its not about three
phase or two phase .... Its
about number of windings....
in three phase induction
motor three windings are
saperated by 120 degree a
part and wound on the stater
in such a way that whenever
a supply is given to these
winding produce a rotating
magnetic field... but in the
case of transformer's there
are two winding connected
parallely each on opposite
limb so e.m.f induce mutualy
to secondary winding ....
Simple, thts it
