which strater used genearalyy???and why???..

Answer / karthick

two point starter is used for d.c series motor, three point
starter for d.c. shunt motor and four point starter for d.c
compound motor.
two point for d.c series because the series field winding
and armature are series connected so only line supply and
field connection can be given.
three point starter for d.c shunt motor b'coz it has the
filed and armature winding parallel connected so it has to
be given for line, field and armature.
