what is diffence in grade 43 & 53 of cement?..

Answer / mike

43 and 53 denote the compressive strength of cement after 28 days in mega pascals(mpa). 53 grade cement is used where early strength is required as in RCC structures, mortars grouts etc. whereas 43 grade is required where early strength is not the criteria as in plastering, brick work, pathways etc. Also 53 grade due to high heat of hydration requires more curing than 43 grade cement.
