why we still use sinusoidal waveforms for transmission and
utilisation (we know generation is sinusoidal), instead of
other ac waveforms such as triangle, sawtooth, square etc.,?
is there any mathematical derivations to prove sinusoidal is
efficient than others?
Answer / venkata naidu
Its depends upon generator operation.whenever the conductor cuts the magnetic flux lines.it induces emf.this emf is depends on flux linkages.
THE FLUX LINES AND RECTANGULAR CONDUCTOR IN SAME AXIS.the emf is 0.again CONDUCTOR ROTATES SOME ANGLE. the emf is slightly increases. in this way the EMF WILL BE SLIGHTLY INCREASES AGAIN ITS SLIGHTLY DECREASES.
I.E, FINALLY GETS SINUSOIDAL WAVEFORM.
