Elution is based on boiling point and polarity of the eluents.for eg we are using db 624 column MDC will elute after Acetone and methanol

elution order in GC analysis completely depends on Volatile
nature of solvent ie Boiling point of respective solvent
which has high BP will elute later than the earlier BP
contained solvent

The elution is based on solvent melting point.If the
melting point is low that peak will elutes first.
