the fuse is use for protection against overcurrent but at
normal condition it carry the rated current then how single
thin wire carry this current without melting
Because it depending up on the load current material melting
point & resistivity
explanation:In loads occurs short circuit(or) high starting
current the conductor(thin wire) temperature is increase for
that certain stage when the material reach that melting
point the conductor (thin wire) melt & disconnect the circuit.

What happens if the Capacitive Voltage Transformer Primary neutral is not earthed. There is a CVT between Transformer and source, and the CVT neutral of the transformer is not earthed, does it effect the transformer while charging or does it effect the transformer charging process.
generally in LT and MV motors we are using 3.5Coresx16,25,35,50 etc cable for supply.although motors is earthed at two point and having all protection.then why we are using that 1/2 core for earthing the motors.while in HT cable we are using only 3core cable for motor supply.generally lt and mv motors are delta connected and ht motors having star connection.whethere it is having any relation with winding connection( star or delta).all motors i am talking about are dol only.can anybody solve my confusion.thanks...
