haw to calculate resistance of induction motar
Answer / cool racer
Connect the multimeter across the terminals without disconnecting the motor leads.
For a delta connected motor, winding resistance = 1.5xmultimeter reading.
For a star connected motor with 3 leads brought out in the TB, winding resistance = 0.5xmultimeter reading.
For a star connected motor with 6 leads brought out in the TB, winding resistance = multimeter reading. (multimeter connected between phase and neutral)
