If we connect an equipment that demands a high current
( offers a low resistance), then we call it a large load.
Similarly, equipment having large resistance will be called
as a small load. As the load changes, the load current
supplied by he gen also changes. It depends on the type of
gen. how it behaves in such cases. But generally the voltage
drop will reduce if the load is increased until & unless the
prime mover input to the gen is not increased.

In case of single gen ,increase in load causes decrease in
speed . Then governor of the prime mover makes the engine to
draw more fuel to maintain the speed.
