UPS-Uninterpreted Power Supply,once the power failure the change over process will b done with out any fluctuation because of strategic switch is available in the UPS.
Inverter-Once the power failure the change over will b done with interruption bcoz DC power is converting AC.Batteries is charging at the time power available then DC power is converting into AC at the time of power failure.
