UPS-Uninterpreted Power Supply,once the power failure the change over process will b done with out any fluctuation because of strategic switch is available in the UPS.

Inverter-Once the power failure the change over will b done with interruption bcoz DC power is converting AC.Batteries is charging at the time power available then DC power is converting into AC at the time of power failure.

why we are using the 2 slope in differential relay?but in busbar differential we are using only one slope. what is the reason.
