in electrical parameters like freq, voltage, current, phase seq.
by detecting the changes in those parameters using relays we
can protect the electrical system

Fault is sensed by any relays and faulty section is
isolated with the help of circuit breakers.The circuit
breaker is operated when the moving contact is pulled by
some mechanism.The moving contact is pulled against the
effect of spring.It moves only when the fault occurs in the
system.
