use exhaust hot air in the compressor?

cooling chamber is used in the turbine to control it's
exhaust temperature and in this way to increase it's
efficiency by 2-3% almost.
Also it is used to protect the damaging of the turbine
blades as high temperature currents flow upon them after
combustion.

the compressor cannot work with the exhaust air
because if we do that the area under the curve of p-v
diagram will increase it is input work on an open system so
it equal -pdv as you must know so the area increases this
mean as well the work required increases and the over all
efficiency will decrease as well so in the two stage
compression cycle we had to make a water inter cooler to
reduce the work consumption
