two 100W/230V bulb are connected in series. what would be the voltage drop across 1 bulb..

Answer / vishwa theja c

(115v )half of the supply voltage across each bulb and power
consumed by each bulb will be reduced to 1/4 ae power is
proportional to square of voltage (25w).

Is This Answer Correct ?    2 Yes 1 No

two 100W/230V bulb are connected in series. what would be the voltage drop across 1 bulb..

Answer / dineshdamam

Applying kirchoff's voltage
law

we get the eqn

V= I*R1 + I*R2

now since both the lamps
are identical hence we get

V= 2I*R
230= 2I*R or
I*R = 115 =voltage drop
across each lamp.

Is This Answer Correct ?    4 Yes 4 No

two 100W/230V bulb are connected in series. what would be the voltage drop across 1 bulb..

Answer / muhammad shoaib

in series voltage drop is not same so across one bulb
voltage drop is 230v/2=150v

Is This Answer Correct ?    3 Yes 3 No

two 100W/230V bulb are connected in series. what would be the voltage drop across 1 bulb..

Answer / vilas morti

voltage drop for 230v

Is This Answer Correct ?    8 Yes 12 No

two 100W/230V bulb are connected in series. what would be the voltage drop across 1 bulb..

Answer / ramkrishna

p=100w
v=200
i=?
i=w/v
i=100/230=0.434
r=v/i
230/0.434=529.953917
voltage drop at 100w v=ir
v=0.434*529.953917=230v

Is This Answer Correct ?    8 Yes 15 No
