This seems too easy, maybe I'm missing something?
But if the smaller pipe fills the tank in 2 hours, adding a
2nd larger pipe will only reduce that time, so right off
the start, we know that the answer is less than 2 hours
(120 min).
The answer I got is 1.2 hours (aka 1hr 12min, aka 72 min)

Answer / vivek yadav
part filled by first pipe in 1 hour=1/3
part filled by second pipe in 1 hour=1/2.
part filled by both pipe=(1/3 + 1/2) =5/6
hence both the tank wil fill the tank in 6/5 hours i.e in
1.2 hours or 72 min

let the time be t
let the completed job=1
pipe1 be the pipe fills in 3hours and pipe2 be the pipe tat
fills in 2hours.
pipe1+pipe2=full tank
(t/3)+(t/2)=1
multiply by 60 to clear the denominators
60*(t/3)+60*(t/2)=60(1)
20t+30t=60
50t=60
t=60/50=1.2hours
the time taken to fill is 1.2hours

Answer / chirag shettigar
answer is simple & logical :
3hr-2hr= 1hr that means the difference between them is 1 hr
that means the tank will get full 1hr earlier than the tank
to fill in 2 hr pipe
so the tank will get full in 1 hr if both pipes are used
