Is a relay which is worked based on the heat produced by the
current flowing through it...
Basically it bounded to operate at a particular temperature
level, when it exceeds that temperature due to high
currents, the relay senses and operate the breaker .......

thermal over load relay is one type of over load contact,
in transformer when thermaiiy over load problem create at
that time this relay operate, in normal condition it
becomes in off condition
