Preference shares are not traded in secondary market i.e.
Stock exchanges. It does not mean that the investor is
stuck with the shares in their holding. After stipulated
time, which is in advance, investor can sell it to back to
the issuing organization. Or as the the terms and condition
could be. Preferential shares can be convertible or
redeemable.
