Due to in hplc we can take responce in Y-axis.but in ir we
can take trasnsmitance in y-axis, transmitance is inversly
praportional to responce(intensity)

In HPLC we are taking absorbance on Y-AXIS in IR we are
taking transmittance on Y-axis, absorbance is inversly
proportional to transmittance so IR Spectra comes down

As we measure Transmittance not Absorbance in IR Spectroscopy
so the spectra comes down while in other Spectroscopy we measure the aBSOBANCE against con. of the Substance

One Raw material failed assay test is there any chance for failing purity of that material ?
