Electronic regulator has the triac which is the
semiconductor device and bidircetional also. This mean that
current can flow in the both direction mean that it can
work under the ac supply also. this device have gate by
which we can control firing angle also mean that we can
control the r.m.s value of voltage. As we rotate the knob
of the regulator than this knob change the firing angle and
voltage. toque will be change and speed will be change.

Electronic regulator is a group of resistance having
different value of resistances. For regulating the speed of
fan or to increase or decrease the speed of fan we can use
the electronic regulators and also they are more cheaper at
cost and reliable than other regulator.
