As all electronic appliance or the electronic operation works on the mechanism of triggering. So inorder to control the function and to perform fast timers are used. As Computers depend on an accurate internal clock signal to allow synchronized processing.

Therefore timer is needed. Because electronics deals with digital and analog values.
