Answer / vipin
1)calculate the design current based on the power and voltage
2)identify the distance to be installed
3)identify if there requires any derating factors to be considered
4)select the protection device for the design current ( should be 20% above the design current)
5)select the cable with its apacity higher than the protection device.
(2) and (3) can be ignored for very short distances

Show Details FROM:Muhammed Ikram TO:qa@allinterview.com Message flagged Saturday, June 4, 2011 10:07 PMMessage bodyHello all, i want to ask a question to all of you that what is VMM (voltage monitoring module )? how it work,s? i heard somewhere that it compare 1 phase voltage to other phase voltage. but there is also some setting on it. how to set it,s setting. please tell me briefly. Thank,s and Regard,s. Muhammed Ikram.
In a single how much maximum current and watts using
some basic standard questions on transformer.
WHY THE TRANSFORMER VALUE MEASURES IN KVA INSTEAD OF KW.
why we use Test Terminal Block in 11 KV and 33 KV electrical panels.
when voltage increases then current also increases then what is the need of over voltage relay and over current relay? can we measure over voltage and over current by measuring current only?
Define characteristics impedance?
what is harmonics?
what is the difference between brush & brushless dc motor explain its operation ?
what is mean by NPS (Negative phase sequence)fault? what is the difference between EFR & OCR faults?
