actually we cant say about the no. of turns of the primary winding of the ct but the rating of the c.t is 800/400/200/1 means what should be the primary current secondary current must be 1 amps

1. If we apply dc supply to the primary winding of transformer it will be burnt out. similarly dc supply is given to field winding of syn. motor and armature winding of dc motor, they are safe. (Remember both windings inductive nature) what is the reason behind that?
