MEASURED AS 440 VOLTS INSTEAD OF 660 VOLTS (220 VOLTS PER
PHASE i.e 220x3 = 660 volts ).

ac has frequancy. each phase goes maximum ,minimum and zero
in 50 times in a second. if you see ac phase cycle. you
can understand this as this way our alternator each phase
winding is placed at 120 degree.
