What is the audit process? How do you perform the audit?
Answer / mpatil
Hi,
Audit process is nothing but assesment of your project to
ensure if the project is going smoothly and team is clear
with what needs to be developed/tested...
In my company audit will happen sometimes seperately for
Dev & Qa and sometimes combined...
Requirements for the Dev Audit meeting:
•Project Plan
•Project requirements document(s)
•For requirements not available in requirements document –
a confirmation from Project Manager (should be avoided)
•Technical Impact Analysis / High Level Design / Low Level
Design documents (as required)
•Interface requirements document (IRD)
•Code review results (as required)
•Unit Test Objectives and Scripts with Traceability
•Integration Test Objectives and Scripts with Traceability
•Release Notes and Promote-to-Production (PTP) documents
Requirements for the QA Audit meeting:
•Project Plan
•Project requirements document(s) – All requirements have
to be available in requirements documents – No exceptions
•System Test Plan
•System Test Scripts with Traceability
The auditor may ask questions to the team what was their
understanding on the requirement, how did they
implement/test and what strategy did they follow?. PSO team
members will also be present in the Audit who will note
down everything and finally send out the project health
status to the concerned people.
guys, please let me know if anything else is missed out...
