CMM or Co-ordinate measuring machine is a type of CNC
machine (Computerised Numerical Control). Machine uses
servo motor with compressed air in the line.
Basically the movement between the machine axis and bed is
in vaccum. and the machine move freely in space.
this type of machine are of two type of Control, manual and
automatic.
A touch probe is used to measure the job/ component .
All measurment are done with a single reference point/face.
L/c 0.0001 mm
