How do you calculate qty for form work like props shuttering
sheet and acro span for residential block ?
for Example: 10 sq mt what is the material and qty require to
do form work.

I am not sure too much about it, but it gives an idea for calculating the props , number of sheets and acrospane in a building form work.
size of ms sheet (steel sheet)= 2' * 3'=6 6sqft
props should be between 500 mm to 600 mm to each-other.
Acrospane are uses from one end to other end for supporting the ms sheet on slab.
lets assume the size of 2 BHK = 1000 sqft
=Number of sheet required =1000/6=166.67 approx=170
Add 10 to 15 % wastage=170*1.10=187
=If depth of slab less than 175 mm = 4 sheet contain 1 acrospane.
= If depth of slab more than 175 mm=5 sheet contain 1 acrospan
= lets assume depth of slab= 125 mm
= Number of acrospane= 187/4=46.75 approx=50
=number of props requred= it depend on the size of beam and length of beam around the slab.Total length of beam in running meter around the slab(incuding sunken,balcony ,ots and staircase)=70 m
=props should be between 0.5 m to 0.6 m.
=number of Props for BEAM length=70/0.6=116=approx 120
=Number of props for slab=50*2=100
= Total number of PROPS=320

step1:sheet
1000/0.9*0.6=1851nos
step2:span
note:(slab thickness less than 175=4sheet)
(slab thickness more than175=5sheet)
span=1851/5=370nos
step3:props
note:(slab thickness less than 175=4sheet/2)slab thickness less than 175=5sheet/2)
props=370*2.5=925nos
