The transmission lines are very high voltage(>11 KV) and also due to harmonic effect, the signals from communication line are highly interrupted. Hence the transmission lines towers are built up very longer.

i am going to correct power factor of 1600kw induction motor,when i calculate capacitance of capacitor it is three time more in star connection than delta. if motor is star connected which connection i shall adopt for capacitors and reason for adopt this connection

10Hp, 3-phase, 415v, 50Hz induction motor. The above motor is to run on Star-Delta connection, so how do i make following hardware selection 1) MCB, 2) Contactor, 3) Wire Gage (Depending on P-P current or Line Current), 4) OLR, Please tell in detail how to do the above, so as to get the ans. of it even if the Hp rating changes.
