madakkathara substation(kerala) voltage is 400kv..not 440.....?

it is true ,but the reason behind this is that there are
more bulky and large rated equipment are required for
transmission, which are costly and not suitable for
economical consideration.

Please check it must be HVDC substation. The voltage rating for the same can be 400, 500 and 700 kv.
