aktually power factor is the ratio of apparant power and
aktual power flow in the cirkuit.
i.e. cos # = kva/kw
in kommon wrds.. power factor is the amount of power
konsumed in the unit power supplied.
always power factor should be high.
as high as the power factor, the efficiency vl b high

Power factor is define as degree to which a load is matches with the pure resistive load.
COS#= Real Power(watt)/Apparent Power(VA)
Apparent power (VI) is the power when we assumed that load is pure resistive
While Real power is that power our actual load receive.
We just comparing our load true load with pure resistive load.
i.e when unity means our load is equal to resistive load.

How to calculate ant test the burden of Current transformer
how to calculate the neautral earthing conductor size for a 500kva dg set.
If any HVDC line is going with positive & negative(the negative usually have return path of current with earthing electrode). Now the question is if this HVDC earthed electrode which is using as return path and earthed any nearby 400kv or 220kv AC substation equipments. which will be the impact of this on AC substation & its equipment, how severe may be this and what should be the minimum distance require between HVDC earthed electrode and AC substation equipments? It's really an high engineering level question...Dare to answer and increase your knowledge.
