Which one is easy to control AC or DC Machine?..

Answer / vamshikulkarni

Actually DC is d best as we see in the view of constant
torque variable power operation using armature voltage
control(for less speeds) and field current control(for high
speeds). but Commutator maintenance will be there.. Where as
AC motors with drive fed and Vector control is outstanding
in these days... In my industry its pretty famous(vector
controlled ac motors)...... using drive we can play with the
motor as like a toy.. So in my view AC motor speed control s
d best if we consider in economical and industrial
view............................
