What is class X ct? What rare its uses?..

it used for special protection.such as current check gaurd
relay, pilot wire protection relay..etc

It is defined by BS standards and now being included in IEC
as well. The accuracy limit factor in class X is defined by
manufacture with details of Knee point voltage limit, CT
resistance. So the X class mostly being used for
differential protection and also can be used for metering
purpose.
