The Intel 8085 is an 8 bit microprocessor created in 1977.
The Intel 8086 is a 16 bit microprocessor created in 1978.
The 8086 was the first chip to start the x86 architecture
family.
8085 contains 16-bit address bus and 8-bit data bus
8086 contains 20-bit address bus and 16-bit data bus

8085 and 8086 both represent the version of the
microprocessor.
In 8085 only 8-bit operations can be done.
In 8086 microprocessor can perform 8-bit as well as 16-bit
operations and 8086 is a co-microprocessor.

every microprocessor or micro controller are manufactured using some cores the name specifies the core used for manufacturing that processor or controller. also some of the micprocessor or microcontroller contains the words like v,c that its manufacturing techniques like cmos and its versions.
