Instance for usability testing

invoke the gmail application type valid username and
invalid password the message will appear to type valid
username and password. This message is known as usability.
When the application pop up with some message then it can
be treated as usability and to test that is known as
testing.

Username: satish
password:d@#%^&**()))_

enter the message will pop up please enter valid integers
or password.

I guess now you'll be having a very great idea

Lets we take an example of software product that enables the
data entry operators to take customers orders.If one can
reduce the number of mouse clicks by,say,three for each
order,when a few hundred thousand orders are entered ,the
saving in the overall time taken can be substantial.

for example in gmail sign up page when i leave a column which is mandatory & click on create my account it displays you can't leave this empty and if enter password and confirm password are not matching it displays password mismatch

usability testing means testing the application user
friendly or not .user can easily understand it that is user
friendly.
for example once enter the user id and password at that
time may be you enter any invalid user name ,wrong pwd at
that we get the msg enter proper pwd or user name that msg
are called
come that msg are user can easily understand are not that
checking is usability testing.
