develop the Reports according to Client Requirement..

Package is created in FM which is windows based. Inorder to
utilize that metadata information for reporting in web
layout we need a package to be published.

studio. however package is used as a one of the input
source for the transformer.

If we are publish the the package then metadata(package data) stored in Content Store.that time only we can develop reports. without publishing we can't Develop Any reports in Report and Query Studio.

When ever we made any changes in Package for Example if add any Query item to the package we need to publish then only it reflects in cognos connnection.
Each publishing it creates one additional model Versioning
