we can improve the power factor og a machine by
compensating for the lagging vars.such as we can use
synchronous capacitors ,static vars for the purpose
basically we introduce a capacitive circuit that balances
for the lagging power factor as the capacitive circuit
operates in leading power factor and improves the pwer
factor of the system.
