What should be the DC voltage for Hi-pot test on 11kv switchgear..

calculation is (2E+1)1.414
(11*2+1)1.414=23*1.414=32.52*.85=28kV already HV test done
at factory so we have applie only 85%of rated voltage

for 20kv for 1.732 times means 20*1.732=35

i think it will be the around 23 kv for the 11 kv switchgear
bcz its take the calculation twice of rated switchgear voltage
