what is a mapping in plc & dcs
Answer / ravinder tanwar
Mapping is the process of assigning the addresses to the
controller for I/O integrity for e.g in GE fanuc PLC if we
have to assign a single address for AND combination of two
inputs then we simply connect these two inputs in series
and assign a single address for for combination of these
two inputs means (%I0001---%I0002----------%M0003)
Here I in input from field and M is memory mapping address
assigned for combination of these two inputs
